Nichols Improvement Association

As a member of the Nichols Improvement Association, you and your family can partake in the many community projects and activities which have been extremely successful over the years.

Some of these programs are General Membership Meetings, Valentine's Ice Skating Party, Kite Flying Contests, Pot Luck/Spaghetti Dinners, the Easter Egg Hunt, the Summer Family Picnic, Summer Camp, Halloween Parade, Holiday Party, Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Jingle Bell Run, Luminarias, the Bonfire and Carol Sing.

All of these events, and more, are run by volunteers. Therefore, we ask that each member show their support of the NIA by donating a few hours of your time to continue the wonderful programs we already have, plus help us create new ones.

We're always looking for new faces and ideas. Please call the NIA House at 375-3611 and leave a message for the activity chairperson to contact you. We all need to do our part by helping out, and keeping the community spirit alive!

Membership is checked at all activities, and non-members will be charged a fee.

Membership for the NIA runs from January through December. There are four different levels to choose from:

• $15 for an individual
• $50 per year for family
• $100 for a contributing member or
• $150 for a sustaining member.

Members also receive the monthly newsletter which will keep you informed of our many activities. You are also invited to attend our monthly meetings, held on the second Monday of the month at the Starkweather House. Membership also allows you to rent the Starkweather House for private functions for a small donation.

We would love to have you at any of our meetings. Four times a year there are general membership meetings which we encourage the whole community to attend.
